Level 2 Routine Visual Inspection certificate

The Transcend Level 2 Award in the Routine Visual Inspection of Play Area and Specific Activity Facilities is a vocationally related qualification that sits in sector subject area 01.4 Public services. The purpose of this qualification is to develop the learner’s skills required to be effectively deployed as a routine visual inspector of play area and specific activity facilities. This qualification is relevant to learners aged 18+ who aspire to carry out routine visual inspections of play area and activity specific facilities such as activity coaches, school, and council workforces

The objective of the qualification is to provide a benefit to learners by giving them the knowledge and skills required to be considered as competent in the routine visual inspection role. Whilst attending the qualification learners will develop knowledge and skills associated with:
· routine inspection of general play area and facilities
· routine inspection of specific play area and facilities

Prior to registration for the qualification learners are required to:
· be accurately identified
· be at least 18 years of age
· be able to communicate effectively in English [reading, spoken, listening and writing].
